In this project, I go to a place where memories do not disappear but settle and solidify.
Just like this lava that cools and takes on a new shape, my past has left its traces: fault lines, layers, shifts.
Sometimes rough and visible, sometimes almost hidden beneath the surface. Yet they have shaped me into who I am today.

As the volcanic landscape continually reinvents itself, I too have learned that deformation is not an end, but a beginning.
What breaks also creates space for growth.
To renew myself means returning to that core, to what remains warm and alive beneath all the layers.

Nature is my ally in this.
In her silence, I find a peace that has become rare in daily life.
She invites me to slow down, to listen, to be present.

With 'In the Land of Vulcan' I invite you to walk through my landscape, and perhaps your own as well.
